Create your own Custom Mirror

We work with you to shape a mirror around your space — frameless, framed, LED backlit or suspended, in any shape and size. From edge and tint to frame finish and lighting, our team guides every choice and hand-makes the piece in our Matraville workshop.

We build framed mirrors around your space in timber or metal — steel, aluminium or brass, in any powdercoat colour. Frames are welded, painted and finished in-house, so you can have a slim modern surround, a chunky box frame or something more ornate. Any shape and size, quoted to spec.

A frameless mirror is all glass — cut to any shape you like, from a clean rectangle to a round, arch, oval, pill or organic form. Choose your edge finish, whether a clean cut, a polished pencil edge or a bevel, and add a silver, bronze, grey or antique tint. Every piece is made to measure.

We take a project from concept through design, drawings, manufacture, delivery and installation — all under one roof in our Matraville workshop. It starts with a complimentary design consultation, where our team helps you settle on shape, frame, edge and finish, then we hand-make it and can install it for you through our partnered Sydney installation teams.

Our LED mirrors are backlit and assembled in-house, complete with driver and a 3-pin plug. Choose your light temperature — 3000K warm, 4000K daylight or 6000K cool — along with where the light sits, and add an optional demister pad to keep the glass clear in the bathroom.

Suspended mirrors float off the wall on square-hollow-section mounts, welded and finished in-house for a light, architectural look. The mounts can be powdercoated in any colour to match or contrast your frame, and the mirror can be any shape or size you need.

We deliver across Sydney Metro at a flat rate within around 25km of our Matraville workshop, and can arrange professional installation through our partnered Sydney teams — from single mirrors to oversized and commercial jobs. Custom work usually takes approx. 2–3 weeks, plus 1–3 business days in transit, and we will do our best to move faster for a genuine emergency.

Behind our Process

Step into our world of framing where meticulous attention to detail and quality control ensures perfection at every stage. From selection to assembly, discover how our dedicated process guarantees the highest standard of every finished piece.

Be inspired & consider your space

Every mirror starts with the room it is going into. We begin with a complimentary design consultation, talking through where the mirror will live, the light it will catch and the look you are after.

Bring us a reference, a moodboard or just a rough idea. We will help you weigh up shape, proportion and placement so the finished piece feels made for the space — because it is.

Choose your finishes

This is where your mirror takes on its character. Pick an edge — clean cut, a polished pencil edge or a bevel — and a tint, from standard silver to bronze, grey or antique.

If it is framed, choose timber or metal in any powdercoat colour, sprayed and finished in-house. Adding LED? Select warm, daylight or cool white and, if it is for a bathroom, a demister pad to keep the glass clear.

Hand-made in our workshop

Once the design is locked in, our team of around twelve makes your mirror from scratch in Matraville. Glass is cut and finished, frames are welded or joined and sprayed, and LED is assembled here — all under one roof.

We have been hand-making frames and mirrors since 2013, and everything is 100% Australian made. Custom work usually takes approx. 2–3 weeks, plus 1–3 business days in transit from approval.

Delivered & installed

When your mirror is ready, we deliver across Sydney Metro at a flat rate within around 25km of the workshop. You are also welcome to collect from Matraville.

For anything that needs hanging, our partnered Sydney installation teams handle mirror installation, gallery hanging and oversized or commercial work — so your piece ends up exactly where it should, safely and level.

The World is your Oyster

The combination of numerous design elements used within framing can make the task seem daunting to some. Below we have included some of the framing techniques we use to help you familiarise yourself with the terminology. These techniques paired with your art and frame choice allow you to create something truly unique

A heated demister pad sits behind the glass and gently warms it, so your mirror stays clear and fog-free after a hot shower. It is a popular add-on for LED and bathroom mirrors.

Integrated LED backlighting gives the mirror a soft halo of light. We assemble it in-house with a driver and 3-pin plug, and you choose the temperature — 3000K warm, 4000K daylight or 6000K cool — and where the light sits.

A bevelled edge is ground and polished on an angle around the mirror, creating a subtle framed border that catches the light. It is a classic, elegant finish that works with or without a frame.

Frameless mirrors are pure glass with no surround, cut to any shape and finished with your choice of clean, polished or bevelled edge. Clean and contemporary, they let the mirror itself do the talking.

A tinted mirror swaps the standard silver for a warmer or moodier tone. Choose bronze, grey or antique to soften the reflection and add depth — a lovely way to complement a particular palette or feature wall.

A framed mirror is surrounded by a timber or metal frame that we build and finish in-house. Metal frames come in steel, aluminium or brass in any powdercoat colour, so the surround can be as understated or as bold as you like.

A box-framed mirror sits within a deeper frame that projects off the wall, giving the piece real presence and a sculptural, three-dimensional edge. Built and finished in-house in your choice of timber or metal.

We regularly make oversized mirrors for statement walls, retail and commercial spaces. With CNC cutting and in-house welding and finishing, we can produce large-scale pieces and arrange delivery and professional installation across Sydney.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to our most common questions, but if you don’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us; we’re here to help with any further inquiries you might have!

Our focus is bespoke framing and mirror-making rather than conservation restoration. That said, we are happy to look at your piece, frame it with care and, where it needs specialist restoration work, point you towards the right person. Just get in touch and tell us what you have.

Because every piece is made to your specification, price depends on the size, shape, frame, edge and any extras like LED or a demister. As a guide, custom mirrors typically start around $1,000, and we quote each project individually. Send us your details and we will come back with an estimate.

Yes — we can look after the whole journey. It begins with a complimentary design consultation, then moves through design, drawings and manufacture, all done in-house at our Matraville workshop. From there we deliver across Sydney and can install through our partnered installation teams, so you have one point of contact from concept to the finished piece on the wall.

Alongside our mirror and frame work, we can help with canvas printing and stretching for artists, photographers and galleries. Every job is a little different, so tell us the size and finish you are after and we will let you know what we can do and what it will cost.

Absolutely. If you have a piece that deserves a fresh look, we can reframe it in a new timber or metal frame to suit your space. Bring it in or send us the details and dimensions, and our team will talk you through the options.
